Phoenix enjoy a fantastic season both on and off the pitch!

Phoenix enjoy a fantastic season both on and off the pitch!

The 2012-13 season will go down as a Historic Season for Phoenix.
The sad news over the Season has been the passing of the Club President Alan Pearson and the moving into a nursing home in Scotland of Vice President Alan (wingnut )Turner, Both would have been very proud of what has been achieved.
Off the pitch we have worked extremely hard and we now have Floodlights, A 110 seated stand and a new Carpark.
On the Pitch Phoenix have achieved the following.
37 teams have played for the Club this season, plus 1 ladies netball team.
The senior 1st team won the Kent Invicta League which has taken us into the Kent Premier League, the highest level the Club has ever played at.
The Reserves won the Kent Division1 League Cup
The Vets have won the Kent County + League Cup and are also still have a good chance of the treble and winning the League!(Photo above is of the Vets winning the Cup)
The only girls team at Phoenix u14's , have so far won their League and teh Kent County Cup Final, and they have one other Cup final to play this weekend to win the treble.
We have had many other League wins from our mini soccer teams especially our u10's Tygers who won the A Division.
Also we have 2 mini soccer teams in Shield finals.
Our Junior 11 a-side team sboth Kent Youth and SELKENT have also done very well.
with 3 teams in shield finals this weekend , u11's vs u11's and the u16's.

All of the Phoenix Board and Committee members are very proud of all of outr teams and want to thank all the Managers , coaches, parents and players for all your hard voluntary work this season.
We hope that you have enjoyed it, even though the weather has been awful! and we look forward to doing it all again very soon in the 2013-14 Season.
COME ON YOU PHOENIX!!
